Brno, 20 June 2006
|
The DC Concept company, creator of QI, The First Elastic Information System, has been named to IT Week Magazine's prestigious Top 100 Vendors 2006 List in the category of IT solution providers.
DC Concept, as the only Czech company, has been ranked among the most respected world players in the IT field. In this year’s list, there are stated such names as Cognos, Dell, Hewlett-Packard, Intel, Sybase and other famous companies.
As IT Week Magazine editor-in-chief, Ken Durham, stated, it is very prestigious to be selected into Top 100 Vendors 2006 List. "These awards are bestowed upon companies whose IT products demonstrate quality and distinction making them best in their class," said Ken Durham, Editor of IT Week magazine."The process for selecting only 100 winners with so many great vendors to choose from was extremely difficult. We combined our industry research with reader suggestions and comments. In the final analysis, the companies who made the Top 100 list exhibited leadership and innovative talents that surpassed those of their competitors. In the end it boiled down to the vendors that exhibited the highest level of technology innovation and leadership within their respective markets and we're very happy for the opportunity to recognize these vendors for driving the IT industry forward. They are truly the best of the best."
The DC Concept company understands this ranking as a strong engagement for the future.
„The fact that we belong to the world most important companies in our business field means that we must commit ourselves to even more responsible approach in developing our unique information system, QI, as well as in respect of relationships with our current or future customers,“ said Jiri Rychetsky, CEO of DC Concept. And he added: „We are proud of because an originally small Czech company belongs now to the world‘s elite due to thorough work of skilled professionals. But don’t be afraid, we keep feet on the ground. It is necessary if we want to keep this privilege in future."
